In the last 20 years traditional fishing technologies and fish processing have evolved rapidly, which has substantially increased the revenue of Icelandic fisheries. Catch levels are limited, so it is our responsibility to make the most of every kilogram. Recent investments in biotechnology are enabling us to harvest bioactive compounds from the cod to meet the needs of the future.
